Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BILTECH OÜ (“BILTECH”, “we”) collects, uses and protects your personal data in connection with the Easy Stacking Planner (ESP) software and the biltech.ee / easystacking.com websites. Your data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, where applicable, Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).

2.1 Website — trial download form

• E-mail address (required)
• Full name and company name (optional)
• IP address, date/time of registration (for abuse prevention and record-keeping)

2.2 Desktop application

• Trial period: the 15-day trial is tracked only on your device, offline; no data is sent to us for this purpose.
• License activation (only if online activation is used): to enforce the device limit, a device identifier (an irreversible hash derived from hardware details), the computer name and the license code are sent to our server. Raw hardware information is not stored.
• Update check: the application queries our server for a new version (standard connection metadata).
• Voluntary feedback survey: the application may occasionally show a short satisfaction survey. Answers are transmitted only if you press "Send" and contain solely your rating/comments plus the app version, language and plan type (trial/licensed) — no identity, license key or usage data.
• The application collects no other usage/telemetry data.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers necessary to deliver the service, under data-processing agreements:

• E-mail delivery provider (setup and notification e-mails)
• E-mail automation tool (drip campaign — e.g., Brevo/MailerLite; when enabled)
• Server/hosting provider
• Payment provider (only if you purchase a Pro license)

Some of these providers may be located outside the EU/EEA; in that case, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

• Lead (e-mail) records: for as long as your marketing consent is valid; deleted within a reasonable period after consent is withdrawn.
• License/activation records: while the license is valid and for statutory retention periods.
• Records required by law are retained for the period set out in the relevant legislation.

Under the GDPR and KVKK you have the right to:

• Access your personal data and request information
• Rectification and erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
• Restrict processing and object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing)
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Estonia: Andmekaitse Inspektsioon; Türkiye: Personal Data Protection Authority)

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in every notification e-mail, or by contacting us.

8. Cookies

Our download page does not use tracking cookies beyond strictly necessary functions.

9. Data Security

Your data is protected with reasonable technical and organizational measures against unauthorized access; communication uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is limited to authorized persons.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is published on this page and the date is updated for material changes.
